How it works
We convert gauges to the same scale (per inch or per 10 cm). Then:
- Cast‑on =
your_sts_per_in × target_width - Rows =
your_rows_per_in × target_length - We suggest needle up/down if your gauge is tighter/looser than the pattern, and nudge toward a different yarn weight if the difference is big.
Tip: Always knit a gauge swatch! Measure after blocking for most accurate results.
